Wedding Weekend

What a stellar wedding weekend in Rosemary Beach, FL. Sandy's son, Andrew and his now wife, Rachel are now on the beginnings of a lifetime of marriage. We have been sharing the preparations on the podcast, and now it is time to share a few videos and pictures we have so far!

Leading up to the wedding weekend, the weather forecast was expecting rain, every-single-day. Yet, Sandy has been studying horary astrology and put it to the test! She casted a chart asking if there would be rain on the wedding welcome party night (since we would need to hurry and find a new location that was not on an uncovered rooftop!

Finally, as the wedding weekend started off- the rooftop Welcome Party hosted by Sandy and Andrew's father- was RAIN-FREE with spectacular visibility and sunset! There we had preliminary speeches, dance parties, and a night full of laughs and love.

Then after a break on Friday, Saturday morning came around and the tables, chairs, altar, and gorgeous blush and gold decorations began to be set up. Although cold in the morning, the weather warmed up and there was hardly a cloud in sight! Andrew and Rachel had their "first look," and then the wedding bells began to ring as Rachel's father walked her down the aisle to begin the ceremony. Officiated by Andrew's father- his written speech was inspiring and beautifully written!

After the ceremony, we ate Rachel's favorite, a Mexican buffet with elotes, street tacos, and fajitas. Then we headed up to the rooftop for the celebration! The band was energetic, funny, and engaging- with amazing musicians and singers. The best (wo)man {Alex}, the maid of honor, and the father of the bride all stood up and shared their speeches of love and appreciation before we got back to the dance floor for more boogying down!

And last but definitely not least, Sandy had a surprise flash mob dance/performance choreographed- bricks, flowers, and tears were all included! Since Sandy's father was a mason, and her mother is still an award-winning gardener. We could not have found a better song dedication than "Garden" (by Nahko & MFTP).

Thank you everyone for the love, emails, and following along with all the festivities with us! It truly was a weekend to remember.
